I've already informed them I would accept if offered. I'd leave here Asshat or NO Asshat for 12K!

Up side is, our 2018 budget will be set by then. If I leave it would wreck Asshats plans, not to mention no one else would (or could) operate with the limited budget I operate with. All in all, it would be GOOD timing!

Straightened out the tee-nut crisis! Sales person @ Graingers had the right idea. Take 6 nuts out of the 600 and re-seal box. They would send me return freight sticker (UPS) and when it gets here, call UPS for pick up. No charge for the 6....No return freight charge. I get 6 nuts for free.

    This will suck ass....

I have one employee that can unlock and open the building at work. Either him or me HAS to be there every day.

Just got off the phone with his wife. He had a stroke earlier this evening. Blind in left eye and partial vision in the other. Just 40 years old.

Sux for him. Gonna suck for me. We're going into "off season", so I'm pretty sure Asshat won't let me hire anyone until spring.

7 ddays a week here we come.

Prayers for Danny. Not sure I can handle this with my health.

The thing is, it's my job.....my responsibility to cover for employees of mine when they're out sick. I know that. Even if I can hire someone, it'll be weeks, even months before I can put someone in a position where I can trust a new guy to do the job. There is no possible good outcome to this.

When it rains, it pours.... Normally, anything happening at work after 2PM on Friday until Sunday morning is the responsibility of my helper. So he's in the hospital....And the alarm goes off at work. I have to respond. Problem with the alarm. I'm at work now, waiting for the alarm company to send their people out to fix the problem. Less than 2 hours sleep. This is getting ridiculous.

Sorry about the other Bill. Great news about the job, now just have to wait. Hope it all works out. Like that shovel mount. Curious in the new carbon grill.

Having 2nd thoughts regarding the fake carbon fiber grill. I spoke with someone who has one. They had a complaint. Supposedly it's damn near impossible to reach the hood release unless you have long skinny fingers. I have big hands/fingers. Also, the rubberr weather strip tends to fall off..

I guess it's a case of what do you expect from a $100 grill?

I bought a spring compressor yesterday from the Mac tool guy. Will be changing front coils in the next week.

@ work on a Sunday morning. BIG wedding here last night. The place is a wreck. Just get me through the day! Asshat out of town until Tuesday. Going home as soon as I can. Planning on doing the 885 to 887 swap this afternoon. Maybe. If I feel like it.

Gonna decide y/n on the grill by tomorrow. I get conflicting opinions on it's quality.

Got home a little early. Decided to rotate tires.

    Done.

Less than 200 miles until oil change is due. Decided to do that.

    Done.

    Looked at 887 coils.

    Not done.

Compared changing coils to cleaning out mixed samples of beer in fridge. (8 brands)

    I'm done (working)

50/50 on ordering fake carbon fiber grill tomorrow. Read MORE negative reviews. Based on the assumption that a $100 plastic grill couldn't be much (when compared to $400 to $800 one's based on "stock" grills) Not feeling likke spending $100 on another ornament for the garage wall.

Mt Washington is a small country town. About 8000 people total. Yet we have over 30 churches and 4 auto parts stores. (Bumper to Bumper, Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and as of today, a new O'Rielly Auto...)

The O'Rielly is ran by a group of "off road enthusiast's". (Jeep, Ford, Chevy, and a T4R) They want to get involved in aftermarket parts. I'm trying to convince them to go to RRG with a few of us.

Got me set up on a commercial account! We'll see how this works out!

Irma is blowing into North Central Kentucky. Winds about 30 mph. (Uneducated guess) Clouds look like rain.

Decided to hold off on the plastic grill. Just didn't like it as much as I first did. Looks cheap. Will wait for a better onne to pop up in the classifieds.

Found a deal on a 20" LED light bar @ O'Rielly's. With wiring kit, under $200. May do that... $39 for 2x4 LEDS that would work in rear bumper. Low on priority list.

Back on my "I wanna roof rack" craze.

Saw a truck today VERY close to mine with black wheels. Could happen.

The guy who WAS going to tint my front door windows is now in jail. That's a problem.

Had a great epiphany regarding "rear skid" in spare tire area. Need to gather material. Have much of it. Then weld.

The more you do to a truck, the more you want to keep doing.

Bought this for $500 on Saturday. After some cleaning she'll be good to go. Going to mount my solar panel to the roof rack and I like that it has shelving in the side windows so I can store all my tools for trail-side repairs (to avoid digging through the truck to find my stuff). But now I want to mount some lights to the roof rack. Also wanting to paint that roof rack black.

Any suggestions for prepping/painting the aluminum rack?
