So my new weber 26 is in Austin, but delayed... I called and asked if I could pick it up. Was told no. :( what to do...

So I got online and bought a weber 22. Brand new never used

Guess this answers my previous question of which one should I get. Both is the correct answer apparently.

My 22" is copper, too. LOVE the color!

That said, I'm super jealous of your incoming 26". Gotta get me one, too.

    Congrats on the nice score(s)!

Thanks. Just hoping the 26 magically shows up tomorrow so I can go all out this weekend. Thinking of building a double kettle bench/table/cart apparatus now. Gonna play with some designs later. Night shift time killing :D

Should build a nice curved table that sort of surrounds you and has one of each size in it, from smallest to your new 26".

Guess I'd need to go get a couple more sizes first  But I'm going back and forth between two individual performer style carts or a all in one shebang.

First world BBQ problems :D

Just be careful. I was looking for a cheap weber and wound up with two :goingcrazy: Wife gets home on Monday and I'm sure she'll be thrilled too :D

The standard or silver one has a tray that looks like a pie pan. The premium or gold one has a enclosed ash catcher. I've had mine for a couple months and would never want to go back to the pie pan version.

Costco ribeyes. One with a coffee rub and the other with my routine house rub. Light smoke session up to medium rare temp, then a reverse sear on the propane grill.

Pairing with grilled lemon Parmesan bacon wrapped asparagus and mashed potatoes.

    PBC is the truth.

Reverse sear on the steaks and a char on the asparagus on the Weber propane.

    Amazing.

Never have too many! I have the little one the 22 and one I got a few years ago about 28? I think they don't make them any more because can find an other. Anyhow also slowing with a Oklahoma Joe and my home built old job box holds 500 lbs of trip tip. Then the trash can it's an old oil half barrel that has a basket and is wood heat. Awesome for grill or smoke.
