Who's tried one of those stand up paddle boards? Would anyone like to go rent one and try it out?

 

They’re pretty cool. I’m planning on buying a couple for the old lady’s birthday in the spring.

 

I'm actually after the 500 and the only way I can justify it is if it's Street legal which these are. My boy is 7 now and he wants a bike too which I'm thinly using as my excuse to buy what I want. Quite certain that my wife sees through my bullshit but she's been agreeable to date.

 

@Misplaced Nebraskan , any updates on TnT/LakeFest? We gonna have enough eggs n Tortillas? I got an 8ft table for LakeFest from work. Christa bought a bunch a stuff too.

This is also marking the Triumphant return of the trash can lid wielding, bad guy beating, Camry driving... wait... my b Asphalt Avenger driving, Taco eating, all around baddest of the bad....

$5 per vehicle to park which goes to a charity/organization (see below). This also gets you a raffle ticket for a Autozone bucket of stuff and things. Additionally, this month, PUPPIES!

Chris, how much are the passes so we can pay you back?

We will be doing a Taco Convoy out of T&T at around 10:00 to head to Arrowhead park in Lago Vista for more food and merriment. Chris (@Texoma ) was gracious enough to pick 25 visitor passes for us in advance. The plan is to park Lakefront, grill, drink, swim, etc..

As far as beer options, we're looking at BYOB or pitching in on a keg.

Chad (@ChadsPride ) also suggested something about a Taco Community Trash Pickup at some point to show good community standing. If this is something we do, I'd recommend doing it as one of the first things prior to too much food and drinking.

As another point, that I'm not worried about, we will obviously need to clean up fully after ourselves as well. But our C&C showing is already great about this.

Looks like if everyone brings what was said at one point, we'll be good. I'm bringing extra lots of things just in case.

I also bought a Costco Shiner Bock pack of beer too so I'll be bringing that. BYOB seems to be the outcome for the lake Or a community cooler. I'll be bringing my 140 qt Orca for a common beer cooler and ice....

 

i dig it mann. im getting a built drz supermoto. my good friend races gp and hes a race tech, hes building it for me from a 400 to 470 and suspensions built by him.. will be ready in time, in no rush really.

I’m definitely not going to make it. We won’t be back until around midnight on Sunday.

 

I'm in for T&T, had to take a day off work to make this one. I'll have the cooker and some sweet onions in case we need to wrap a few in bacon again.

Still up in the air on the lake, I really need to be a responsible adult and take care of a few other things, but we'll see what happens.

Being an adult is over rated... Wife is on vacation so I'm doing little to no chores of adulthood

Glad you'll make the am and we'll be frying lots in bacon grease again I'm sure

 

I should be at the lake pending mods on chads truck. If he says he want to do lake after C&C and mods another day, I'll be there

 

If we get done tearing out sheet rock and stuff tomorrow then I plan to make it out on Sunday. I may also be bringing some Houston peeps along if I make it.
