Hey everyone, I'm looking at buying my first Tacoma in the next week or two. This is what I'm looking at, is this comparable to what any of you paid or should I try to squeeze the dealer to go lower? I'm thinking this is a good price, but I haven't seen the vehicle in person yet. Nor have I mentioned my trade-in. Also, is there anything that would be beneficial to maybe add to this at the dealer that you would recommend? Thanks!

Welcome to Tacoma World. I'd say that was a good price, but it can't hurt to ask for a little more....I'd get either the tube steps or all black step rails and a bed mat (I did on my 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport Long Bed).

Best of luck - what color are you looking at?

I don't see how your Math lines up to $25,794..

I literally just bought this truck (4x4, TRD Offroad, DC, Magnetic Grey, Tow Package, Floormats + Sill covers, 5 spd Automatic) Model 7594C for $27,800+ttl.

    $32,300 msrp
    - $1000 March Incentive
    - $1000 College Graduate Incentive

Gave me Invoice Pricing @ $ 29800 (down from $32,300) for the 7594C Minus the $2000 in Incentives got me to $27,800.

Only one in 250 mile radius (Magnetic Grey)

I can copy my inquiry report if needed..

If you can get $25k...jump on that, that's a steal and $6k off MSRP since there was no mention of any rebates in your post.

like JB said if you can get it for that price; which you probably aren't, then go for it. just from what you posted you are already at approx 30k with the vehicle base price and the accessories. and that price sounds more like invoice.

Thanks for the quick replies guys!

Thanks, I am looking at white w/ stone/ash interior. I am thinking of going w/ rhinolining actually, but a mat might be a cheaper option now that I think about it, and I will def look at some sort of steps for the rugrat.

Sorry I wasn't clear w/ the numbers above. That is a USAA member price quote, with a rebate of some sort, but the salesman didnt give me rebate details in the email quote he sent. Again, I just wanted to make sure that I shouldn't go in and be a jerk about the price.

    Lol, ok got it! :D

I bought a 2010 Automatice, Double cab, 4x4 Sport Package, with the tow package, Mag. Grey, for $29k back in January. Tacomas sell like mad here in northern VA and the dealer that I went to gave me the best trade in price for my previous car (which I had negative equity in), so I made the deal.

ask the dealer what the "Out the Door" Price is. My gut feelings tell me they'll rape you on the " + fees" part after the price.

That is a crazy good price and I can't even see fees amounting to anything that would put that price up to some realistic...:confused:Anyway, a good price all depends on where you live and the current rebates in that area at the time, as well as any special deal quote like you received (supplier discount or whatever).
eg. I'm currently in the market for the same truck you described. Only, I live in the NY/NJ area and there still hasn't been a rebate on the tacoma yet. Dealers are willing to sell at invoice, but I want to take that extra $1,000 off that a rebate gives you. So, I'm waiting.
If I was in Florida or southern California, I'd be at this price a month ago. :)

Yeah, that's a good price! It's about what I paid, after military discount and trade in. So if you're getting that just on the USAA price, good on you! Just watch that fees and tax and title crap, it'll get you.

Next Mod: resevoir rear shocks, Vinyl camo wrap when I'm bored of the grey...
fees could be lots of $. I know my fees were. and what about the taxes? also, everyone needs to remember that this isnt a trd offroad sport, its just a trd offroad, so theres no painted grill surround or hood scoop. the rear bumpers chrome not painted. the rims are 16 inch regular rims not the 17' nicer rims on the sports. Also this a special price because he is in the military, all car companies give way better deals to military through their buying programs. I know BMW takes upward of 4-5 thousand off their asking price.

No one can touch the USAA price. I just bought using the USAA price and no other dealer would come within $1000 of it. It is the real deal. The only "fees" I paid on top of the USAA price were the documentation fee=$389 and the sales tax which is standard, and DMV fees.
