    TRD supercharger, TRD exhaust, skids, sliders
    Nah. If designed the right way, you can lay the rack on the ground, mount the spare, then lift it up into place (versus hefting a heavy tire/wheel up high). The other purpose, again if designed right, is to keep the spare from catching on a ledge/dropoff edge while wheeling. It needs to be built stout to take a hit in such a situation without damaging the body, etc.
