Some asshole stole my work back out of the back of my truck when I had the windows down parked in front of the house. Doors locked. Ran back in for like 30 seconds to grab my drink. Ended up picking up this Ring floodlight cam.

What's the average cost to have the timing belt/water pump replaced on the 3.4s anybody know ? Also still can't find source of coolant leak but I haven't had to add any in a week .For any 12 volt geniuses out there I also installed a new bigger battery the same time I noticed The increased temp readings could that have anything to do with the readings, hopeful but doubtful

I would expect in the $800 - $900 range. Make sure the tensioner is replaced at the same time. Battery has nothing to do with anything unless you somehow crushed a hose with the battery, moved something that's blocking the radiator, knocked a hose loose, unlikely though.

True, but by bigger I meant higher amperage battery and it's new compared to the 3yr old one that only had a 3yr life expectancy just wanted to make sure ultra gauge wasn't getting a false reading do to a slowly failing battery like a failing power source in low voltage wiring can affect components down the line

Anyway gonna run it without the skids this week and crawl under it when it's hot and check for any leaks if I don't find any May just do a quick flush and replace tstat.

My neighbor has a 2005 4Runner sport. Antifreeze level was dropping every week or so but never found a leak. Pulled the radiator and the bottom was literally crumbling, no idea how it held on as long as it did. Anyway, it was leaking so slow, it never hit the ground that he could see. It dried before it made it's way all the way down. Very possible you have the same thing going on.

I bought my black 4runner from a customer at my work with a leaking radiator. I immediately replaced the radiator then tagged it. About a week later I noticed the coolant was low so I topped it off thinking it was just a air pocket. Sure enough week later it was low again. I pressure tested it and no leak found. Then i removed the pressure tester and just let it run to see if i saw anything. Sure enough with a small mechanics mirror i found a very very small leak coming from the Tbelt cover beside the Tstat housing. New Tbelt & wp was the fix.

I almost bought this today, new KTM 690. $10,700 otd and on the road with a MD tag, dealer is here in WV. I did plenty of research on the KTM 500exc but not the 690. I can't buy something with researching it first so I'm gonna do some researching this week.

I put stickers for more horse power!
I have a forklift with a mazda engine in it, it had the same problem as your t4r, after trying different things (replaced rad fan, thermostat, belt) I found the bottom hose clamp was not properly tight, it was leaking from there but I never saw any drop marks.

Well I'm over due for a timing belt anyway especially since I have no idea if previous owner had it done so I'm gonna get some prices to get it done
