    We'll be getting it here in Kentucky.... Harvey blew through here. We got 6" of rain in 24 hours. Now Irma is headed this way. A few years ago, we got Hurricane Ike. 80mph wind for 12 hours. You just don't expect hurricanes to travel this far inland.

    The hills @ Harlan are steep enough that water just runs off. 2 or 3 days after a hard rain, it's dusty again! Don't despair though! It's rocky enough to make it tough even when dry.

    Only time I've ever seen it muddy is in the spring time. Last year it poured down rain the day we got there. 24 hours later we started seeing dust behind the trucks!
