Anybody put NATO style Steelies on their 2016 yet. Dealer is telling me, I need to change tire pressure sensor, and a few other things to make it happen with a sticker price of $1800.00 The after market guys say they wont clear the calipers?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I'm gonna go with the aftermarket guy on this one.

Dumb question maybe, but why not just track down a pile of Tacoma spare wheels? Those will definitely clear the calipers.

Looks like you can score them for under $100 a rim, clean 'em up real nice, maybe take them to the powdercoaters and get a custom color...

I was going to go with some older model spares but the parts department said they would not fit. The spares from the dealer which will fit for sure was my go to, but then said I needed to change the sensors's etc.. I backed out. Typically dealer BS in my opinion.

actually the tire pressure sensor is a legit thing, they around $80 per wheel, you dont need them but the light on the dash will just blink constantly, if you dont use them

Yes the steel wheel TPMS are different for the steel wheels vs the aluminum. They are a different angle. Other than that should be fine. Check CL for wheels, they pop up every so often.

    They're right. You're wrong.

Sell your existing sensors to offset the cost of new ones.

I thought you just needed to rotate the sensors 180' to make them work?

You can but in the event of a flat you stand to completely destroy the sensor
