Glad you like it- I forgot to mention that you will have to drill out the anchor holes a bit to fit the bolts (I did it by hand holding pliers), and use a small slotted screwdriver to jam next to the grinder sides of the t-bolts to keep them from spinning while you tighten them. Have a good time on the water- love canoeing!

Why would you lean a 700# load on the tailgate? Seems like it would be be better to lay it flat and lash it down. Looks like too much stress on the gate and bed. ? Curious, not hating...

That big piece wasn't 700lbs. Saved me from having a bunch of straps all over the place...And I had stuff under it. Saving another trip.

    As requested!
I've yet to determine what I want to do with the Tacoma side badges, if anything.

Finished up the speakers install. Not one of my favorite mods to do. A learning experience for me for sure. I am not a interior panel guy. Took me way longer than I thought other than the dash tweeter install which was about 20 minutes. The Dynamat is pretty forgiving and goes on slick enough. Whole thing took me about 6 hours. Most of it figuring out how the speaker mounting adapters attached to the speakers. No screws, clips, or any other parts left over so most have done something right.
On the plus side, for sure the Subaru tweeter are a huge improvement. As soon as you turn on the music you can hear it. I for sure would recommend doing at least that. The Kickers do sound good. I was blown away at how cheap the stock speakers were. I don't even think they have a magnet. Total trash. The Dynamat was also a good thing. Cut back on the road noise for sure. Now to clean up the mess I made of my garage. If I had to do it all again I would . IMG_3029.jpg IMG_3030.jpg

I'm leaving mine on for now. Maybe if I get the MGM or Matte black ultimate mirrors with blacked out chrome and BSM, they might get changed or removed...lol

I also did the tweeters. How do you feel about the rest in terms of level of improvement in sound quality and volume?

It does crank up better than stock speakers for sure. The tweeters were the most noticeable improvement. The Kickers have a richer bass sound than stock. As I said it was worth it. Crutchfield is having a sale till 9/21. Buy one set of speakers get the second half off. And they include the adapters and shipping is free. So for under $200 an improvement. I can't really afford the 450Q system and I am not a huge audiophile so it works good for me.
