    It all goes by horsepower. If it is sufficient to supply more than enough fuel to feed the crank hp, at 8 psi, then you'll have your answer.

    isnt the 255 like $10 more? are there any disadvantages of running a larger pump than needed?

    You have a narrowband AFR gauge, or are you talking about the OEM sensor?

    I am referring to an aftermarket wideband AFR gauge. Like an AEM Uego gauge.

    The vacuum line that goes to the fuel regular Today I went to hook up the fuel pressure gauge so that I can see it when I'm driving and before I got it all hooked up I noticed these two things which solved all the problems for now IMG_6096.jpgThe vacuum line that goes to the fuel regular was broken and the large plug on the throttle body was completely missing :facepalm:IMG_6095.jpg

    That will cause some major vacuum amd operational fueling issues.

    If your silicone cannot be bent in half, twisted, contorted, & stretched, then you should look at a rubber braided hose, or a better brand silicone. Just for keepsake.

    Definitely need to get a wideband installed. It will instantly show you if there is an issue. It is an invaluable tool.

    That should make a huge difference. Big thing with turbocharged setups is just doing regular checks under the hood to make sure all those little things are intact. Especially since turbo boost is all based on vac/psi readings

    I guess I keep calling it too soon because coming to work this morning it's bogging real bad i'll push the gas not even full throttle to get on the freeway and it'll fall on his face and then pick back up and fall on his face again in a different gear and then pick back up

    After reading about how to check the FPR if its working properly i wonder if this is it or a relay because when i turn the ignition to the on position there is no fuel pressure. This was the case before changing the fuel pump :notsure:

    I know that the 2nd Gen Taco doesn't get fuel priming until the ignition switch is turned to the start position. Might be the same on the 1st Gen?

    I have had a FPR diaphragm go bad. Any input over half throttle and it would go very rich. Dumping fuel at around 8:1 AFR.

    If your FPR is vacuum/boost referenced, the boost might have broken it down, due to age. Only one possibility.

    I think i meant the start position but ill double check and that sounds like a possibility on the FPR. Of course ill let everyone know what i find

    I went ahead and bought a new FPR for $70 from Advanced Auto Parts if it doesn't fix the problem at least i know it wont be one later
