I think you're right about the range normally, although at aop it would've been very nice to communicate with everyone as we split up frequently. And I guess the radio set up is more complicated but ham does alleviate the entire cb initial set up.

10-4 tis what I thought. So on the note of air, will the tank be difficult to remove and refill? I'm intrigued by this solution. I've seen others with them mounted on bedrails, but I feel like that's a big risk for theft.

 

Plus I need to do a ubolt flip first, and maybe some ditch lights, and a snorkel, an air compressor at some point, gonna need a switch pro before the bumper too for the lights on it... rear hc bumper would actually be easier to go ahead and pull off than front. Plus I'll need a winch

 

Also @JMY24 you better not leave that thing full lol, if you get hit by somebody in the wrong spot BOOM!!

It's tedious to remove but not impossible. But It doesn't need to be removed to be refilled! This is the compressor rigged to it here. Switch to turn it on is in the cab. Everything is hard mounted
