So yes, you wrote both the P5 and one for the gearbox. Just not the same file to both, obviously.

That's what I think. Yours breathes better though. I was shifting sloppy. I like how much power the lying scan gauge said I was making on the bottom right

I honestly don't understand how anyone can drive with ect off. The first 1000 miles of owning the truck I did just to test the mpg which is worse with ect off, although I've had bigger tires since day one so that may play into it. Now 63K miles later been driving with ect on 24/7 and if I somehow forget to turn it on the truck feels like absolute garbage. I wouldn't be able to keep it for a week if it didn't have an ect mode.

 

Not sure I understand...I originally sent Mat an engine and a gearbox file. In return he sent me 1 engine file back for 1.02. I did get another revision back that updated the shift pattern, but he said to load that to the engine too. I never received a worked file for the gearbox. Is there such a thing?

 

I honestly can't feel a difference from 1.01 either. Granted I'm only at 70 miles so time will tell

I'm curious, how would you describe the difference between a stock tune with ECT on, compared to Matt's tune with ECT off?

ECT on the stock truck is nice once you're moving, however that first jolt when you apply throttle from a stand still is really quite annoying.

I'll have to wait for the tune (Irma has stopped my dongle delivery) to see how the ECT off is.

 

I'm jealous because u dont have that surge/fuel cut off problem that I'm having in between shift gears when taking it to rev limit. I have yet to make a video for @OVTune

 

Yes, Irma has put me on hold also. Its starting to get " FUGLY " here on the West coast of Florida !!

now that 1.02 is out we will look into the 4 cyl and 2nd gen. Both look to be possible via handheld.
