    :thumbsup::fistbump:

    So, is that Santiago Peak morning trail still going to happen on 16 Sept. 2017?

    @JaCado, @Darthxtopher, @Tacotruck7

    I'm not tagging anyone else because no one else showed any interest, that I saw and/or they have commitments for the next weekend (i.e. San G and Calico)? :notsure:

    NOTE: "I" only know the trail going up to the peak, but the surrounding trails I am not really familiar with? Although, when coming back down, I was on Indian Truck Trail by accident on my night solo run!!! :notsure::laughing::laugh::rofl:

    side-NOTE:
    It would help to have an extra pair of "navigational 'eyes'/awareness" because I am NOT normally a "guide"!!! I only know where "I" have been and don't normally "lead" a group if I'm expected to lead. With that said, I don't mind to lead the group.

    I'll make sure to bring my traction mats just in case. If someone could bring a shovel and maybe a strap? Mine are in my storage unit... buried!!! Just for just in case purposes, but have yet to see these ever being used on that trail!!!

    I'm pretty sure I'm good to go unless anything last minute comes up. I'd also make sure that someone has a high lift or a jack that we can use incase anyone gets a freak flat. I'm probably looking to just go all the way up to the peak. Hang for a bit. Then head back down the same way to Santiago canyon. I'll bring my compressor. I don't have a CB yet but I'm hoping to get one soon.

    That is essentially my plan as well. :thumbsup::fistbump:

    I will do my best to dig out the stuff in my storage, but it all depends on if I am able to get that time to. I do HAVE a 60in Hi-Lift, but no way to "secure it" so it will be beating the PI$$ outta my truck bed!!! :eek:

    I'll bring it, but, before starting the trail we will have to figure out a way to tie it down, but other than that, I can't realistically bring it without doing damage to my truck bed. :notsure:

    I do agree that I cannot argue again "freak flat" and such as anything can realistically happen... even on an easy trail!!!

    You have truck bed D-rings? I'll bring the jack then if we could secure it to your truck. :notsure:

    Not sure when I will be able to, but I'll try and run with you guys sometime. I don't have a ton of off-road experience except for some messing around I did in my 03 ranger around Mammoth 6 years ago. I've probably only turned 4wd on my Tacoma on twice so far since I got it in May, so I'm cool with some more mellow stuff right now. I'll sub the thread and keep my eye on it, and hopefully at some point I'll be able to make it if my work schedule allows (I work 7 days a week normally)

    Sorry you work so much. You must have tons of mod money just laying around. Lol. J/k
    You are always welcome. We are all mostly 2wd (mostly rookies) and it's our daily, so we look to get out together have a little fun and always return home for the next day. If that sounds good to you then you found the right group. Not saying some of dont challenge our skills and our rig we do just not in a rock crawling crazy 4wd fashion. Welcome and also night runs are done occasionally.

    WOW!!! :hattip: to you!!!

    Hope you can make it? :thumbsup::fistbump::fingerscrossed:

    Also, I do NOT have tons of experience myself, but have been through some pretty tough trails and this is NOT one of them by any means. BUT, like I've stated earlier, there are some fairly loose/dirt rock areas that will give the 2wd guys a bit of a challenge, but it can be done as I have seen it many times already. Not one person EVER got stuck!!!

    When driving to get to the visitor center, please don't be an A$$HAT and drive like a F'N MORON when going through the windy neighborhood road!!! People walk their dogs and such and I'm more worried about a dog getting hit by some dumba$$!!!
