Sounds like the experience I had with my '06 prerunner, only much faster. Some little girl who just got her permit pulled out in front of me in her boyfriend's beautiful 2009 Lancer Evolution. We hit our front tires together and she stopped since she wasn't going as fast. Me, I ricocheted off and spun around a few times, hitting the center divider a few times. Frame damage, shattered rim, bent axle, my truck was totaled in 2011 with about 45k miles. Got a hold of her insurance, they came to see the truck, called it totaled, wrote me a check for almost 19k. I only had 2k to pay off, and payed 24 for it out the door originally. Not a bad deal considering I took it off roading so hard I damaged the engine and frame but don't tell them that

im thinking the frame is ok I could be wrong? the driver side frt wheel looks to be impact, tbh haven't got into it yet. aside from body damage, engine, trans, rear end etc. is fine! I thought there was a 50 50 chance insurance adjuster would deem truck a total loss which he actually did! im gonna to deal with truck week, fortunately I own several vehicles, so im in no rush. eventually ill repost pics and relay more info on the truck after I exceed tw threshold! I fully understand and respect tw rules, ive followed tw for years!

No matter what I would suggest taking the supercharger off. That thing can be resold very quickly.

Not many that I have seen looking for new engines. Parts yes and the coveted supercharger. Whole.... not so much. At least that's what I have seen and I could very well be wrong.

I didn't catch who your insurance company is, but I had a similar situation. I've had Progressive insurance for the last 15 years. My 16 yr old son totaled my wife's Toyota Highlander (he was at fault). Process was basically a phone call and a check in the mail within a week. My rates didn't even go up because I have "accident forgiveness" due to my longevity with Progressive.

I am not saying it doesn't happen. If you have a place to keep it then heck yeah you will get it sold one day. Also service records Long with it are a good idea.

People must be paying their premiums because I totaled out an Impreza RS in April and got nearly $2500 more than I thought I would. Had the loss within 4 days, including a weekend, and was Tacoma shopping the next weekend.
