Easy if I have the laptop. Even if HDD got wet odds are it's ok. Unless you split a 40oz on it.

How new? Apple should be able to transfer the data over if you cannot

Well I'm dumb when it comes to electronics, so what do you suggest I do? Take it to Apple an have they try an pull it off?

Grab the model number off of the bottom and Google it. It probably has a HDD (normal hard drive with disks) and not a SSD (solid state drive which is basically like flash memory ie thumb drive USB thingy).

You could try apple or take it apart yourself and grab a cable to hook the hard drive up to another computer. I should have a cable laying around I could mail you to try.

Unless it is a MacBook Air. They have kinda weird hard drives.

You should be able to find a diy to take it apart. I can mail you the cord if you want to go that route.

I may take you up on that.
I don't care if the computer is broken I just want my pictures, I'm dumb and don't have them anywhere else...

Needless to say from this point forward I'll have a removable HD to save that shit on.

What would you need? I'm working all week but maybe I'll try to shoot down Friday.

You could always back up your photos to Google.

I use back blaze for an auto backup of my documents. I think it's $49 year.

There are some good online backup companies. I have been using carbonite for years, no file size or data limits. Runs a backup every time it notices a change. Get a new computer, just load the app and it will start restoring all your data. For an extra one time fee, you can even have your backup mailed to you on an HD for quicker restoring. Simple set it and forget it. Also, if I loose my house, my photos aren't lost on the external HD, I backed them up on and forgot to take back to the safe deposit box.

At least until I get a fire proof gun safe, to keep that HD in.

There are other companies out there, little research and you can find the right one for you.

Cox has introduced unlimited data for only $50 more on top of what you are paying.

Well I guess that makes sense out of why they started "enforcing" the data limits.

Yep. They want people to pay more to use more. For $50 a month more isn't bad if you are @Aw9d .
