Installed 275/70R17 BFG A/T's on 17" TRD wheels yesterday. Stock suspension. I got a little rub pulling in drive way at decent speed.

my friend went 255/80 r15 and he rubs in the same spot as I do. I guess it just depends how much you'll tolerate

It either rubs or it doesn't. If it rubs and they claim it does not rub then they are lying. It's really that simple. If you say it rubs and you're ok with the rubbing that is the truth! But don't Piss on my head and tell me it's raining.

Yes, I have heard it rub a few times. Turning into uphill driveways. Minor rubbing but it still does.

I'll stick with 265/70/17. Less issues with everything. Probably do the smitty 6112/5160 set up. Smitty, can you post some side shots of your truck with the set up?

I did, thanks! Yea, I like the height you gain, but the wheels and tires look so dinky, haha. Those BFG Ko2s 265/70/17 , and 17x7 TRD Pro rims really fill out the wheel well.

Yeah you might step up to the 265/75/16s or 70/17s eventually. Should be OK without killing fuel economy or power. 285s are a no go IMO unless you regear

I run 275 70 17 ko2 with a 3 inch lift with no problems. If I did anything, it would be go to grappler G2 but have had no issues with that size tire.
