So today I finally added another ammocan storage lock box to make my truck look a little more symmetrical. (Driver side is new box) And I mounted my 5gallon wavian jerrycan with smittybilt Jerrycan mount. I used two pieces of 3ft flat iron to cut 4 pieces of 17in bars to reach my bed rail. so the flat iron is twice as thick. I also got a set of 4 locks that take the same key so I can keep a minimal keychain.

Thanks! The ammo cans are extremely handy. I store tools, ratchet straps and rags in them. The new box will carry tow strap and tree saver. It's a saw box so it doesn't hang, just sits on the ledge of the cab. I can get them at the surplus store for like $25 then with some bolts, rubber gaskets and washers they are mounted. I cut the locking "flap" for the eyelet and grab a lock. Super simple, takes maybe 30min to mount the box to the bed rails if you know what you're doing and extremely inexpensive, I'm maybe in $30 for each box.

The gas can im excited to see how it holds up. One day I'll get another can for symmetry, but it works for now. I reallly just wanted to make sure it was "theft resistant"

Sweet. That flat iron stuff is my go-to for making mounts for various stuff that I'll be attaching to the bed rails.

Busy day today! De-badged the truck thanks to the advise I got on here from @Buckwheat893 , @highriserkaiser , and others!

I made a jig for the fishing line and ended up doubling the line so it wouldn't break so often. Then I peeled off the adhesive and hit it with Goo-Gone for about 10min. Washed it off with warm soapy water, rinsed, then used rubbing compound to get all the remnants off. No trace left at all! But boy that took a lot of elbow grease.

    20170910_170500.jpg 20170910_152453.jpg 1505077859838.jpg 1505077842429.jpg

After that I strapped all my tools and such to the MOLLE Panel from @docloco and got it all organized. I don't have a garage so all my tools live in my truck.

    20170910_175551.jpg

Finally I added the stickers that had been laying around! TW sticker, Bilstein, Louisiana State Trooper's Association Supporter 2015, 2016, and 2017!
