In North Dakota she'd be a solid 9.5 given the level of thirst in this state

 

There are a ton of towns/ cities/states in America where she would be a 10, just not in my town.

 

I thank God that in Austin - the needle would never move from 10/4.

A friend of mines grand parents did that to go grab fish. I think in 1961 in Hilo Bay on the big island of Hawaii. There was a tsunami that followed that. They were never seen again.

 

Yeah a similar thing happens in the channel where I wade fish for flownder. when the big cruise boats come through as soon as the water goes down past our feet we head back to the shore as quick as possible

Technically, that would have been a Tsunami. A tsunami is a result of seismic activity. What they experienced was probably a storm surge.

It was from an earthquake a few hours before. In the 60's the warning system and tracking system wasn't as good. There was a hand full of people on the bridge close by that were wiped away too.
