What the heck ever happens to the Warren side winder??? Used to have one in the rear of my dad's 67 Ford. I never could find an other one.

I could be going crazy but after the alignment I noticed the rear driver tire is closer to the front of the fender than the passenger side is. Is it normal? Can I re adjust the axle? Any tips? Or am I just crazy

 

It's ok if your crazy. Some people just see things from a different angle than others. It's not crazy it's just different.

 

I just don't want it to affect me putting 285s on

 

That shouldn't happen. Unless you broke a spring eye.

The distance (all things correct) from the front hanger to the axle on each side should be the same.

Might be the body is mis-aligned.

 

I'm totally on board with this. I was being a smart ass before.

 

Where'd you have it done? I'd like to get mine done again, but with aftermarket suspension I'm always worried the shops won't have my ch of a clue

 

Firestone. I'm gonna go back though. Just measured from front shackle and the driver side is pushed forward almost a half inch

Did you measure along the spring?

Sometimes with spring fatigue it can look lopsided. But the actual spring length shouldn't change.

That is; hanger to dead center axle along the spring.

 

When you get an alignment it's only the front that is adjusted. There is no adjustment on the rear (unless it's a rear independent vehicle). Did you do any rear spring work?
