Probably closer to 4500. I have only seen 3 or 4 come up in the last year. Everyone wants one though but few can really afford.

Man, I'm not a father but I had a pretty good one that would sometimes do that to me. Don't make him think you distrust him too much. Lines get drawn and it might take decades for them to be cleared up. Only speaking from experience. I have a pretty trusting relationship with my dad now that I'm older, but there have been times and in retrospect some pretty serious emotional and "life" situations where it took me 5 years to open up to him, and I could have used him earlier.

A friend of mine recently took the door off his teenager's bedroom because of some stupid teenager shit. I told him it was going to make things worse. Waiting to see how that turns out. Me? I'd do what I did just for fun as a kid and run to Mexico for a month.

You seem like you're handling this really well so just keep teaching empathy through empathy. Show him fuck ups can really matter and he's lucky when they don't have consequences outside of embarrassment and wallet-thinning

His has limited mileage plus he can sell it local. So I am guessing he could get a tad more for it. But as I said.... probably.

$4500 for a used SC? I understand 4K if it was new. Depending on mileage, 2-3 sounds more accurate but that's if the OP decides to separate with it.

I totaled my 03 Ranger in May and they gave me a lot more than they should've, so it's not just a freak thing it does happen.

That wasn't much "research" since it's saved to my favorites. Just trying to limit misinformation and give the OP more realistic expectations.
