That's like fully built for these things. Only thing left is rtt and dual swing outs. The a bigger lift and 37s.

Ahhh dam Craigslist crap. Thought I found a bike, 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 classic. Been texting the guy most of the week, went down to Manch Veggas this morning hauling an empty trailer to haul the bike back. First issue, gives me an address that's about 2 blocks from where he is. Get that sorted out, and as soon as I pull into the parking lot a car follows me in and two guys get out rather quickly, makes me nervous, but more concerned with my brother who thinks they flipped him off and are following us to start shit. I get out and quickly start a conversation with the guy selling the bike and one of the other guys says something about "oh theses guys here to buy the bike".
So I told the guy to not start the bike today, I wanted to hear the cold start, well the pipes are warm, almost to hot for me to hold my hand on, but the guard is cool. He tells me it must be the sun, I don't by it but what do I know. The gas tank cover is almost impossible to open, as the key didn't seem to fit. Oh and there is an extra key the guy does know what it for, as I just now find out he is selling the bike for his uncle. I get the title to check the vin and he is complaining about all the paperwork his uncle gave him last night.
We keep checking the bike, and my brother fires it up and starts adjusting the choke. This is when I start thinking, I thought the 1600 was fuel injected, so I ask. Carb or fuel inject and my brother says carb, and the seller agrees. I check the manufacturer date and find a 97 date. Yep title says 98. I tell the guy we need to talk about this shit, when the buddies give him shit for a bullshit ad and then take off. Guy can't get his uncle on the phone, and tells me he is out of state.
I thank the guy for wasting my time and leave.
Send the next hour or so driving home with an empty bouncing freaking trailer, pissed. Decided to stop and look at the bike just down the road, guy comes out, chats for a minute. I tell him I got 500 bucks in my pocket, he gets a little pissy. Then says he needs 2500, so I say I got 1800 total, need to talk to wife about 2500. He comes back with, how about finding a couple hundred more and making it an even 2k. My brother tells me to give the guy money, so I went to ATM and now own a
    2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic 14,050 miles.

Little more than I wanted to spend, but after dealing with the Craigslist bullshit, it was this local guy or a dealership.
