    Guys and girls ,

I started another thread about this situation but confused the matter with a half witted theory involving the TPMS , but since I had the TSB transmission reflash last week , which hugely improved the shifting in my 09 , I have had 3 occurences of the VSC engaging on dry pavement .

This happened twice on the day after the reflash in two corners I drive daily , and happened again today ( week after reflash ) in the very same corner as the first time .

I was not driving fast , today I took note of the speed when it happened , I was driving 60 Km / hr , which is roughly 40 MPH . I did not drop a wheel off of the pavement on any of the times this has happened , and it seems plain to me that the reflash has changed some parameter for the VSC ,

Anyone else experience anything like this post reflash ?

    Thanks in advance ,

    OZ

That sucks... I find the VSC is WAY too sensitive as is.

Thanks Jamie , I wish I could figure it out , I talked to my service rep and they want to look at it , but you know how it is with intermittent problems , it will probably behave itself while I am there ,

The only problem for me is I'm on a different island from them and going to the dealership is a two ferry ride all day program , and I don't know the roads over there , maybe I'll ask the tech where we can find a shitty , windy road :)

I had the reflash done on my 2010 taco about a month ago and have twice had a hesitation when shifting from park to drive. One time on a hill I almost rolled into the car behind me. Anyone else?

Gotten pretty used to the ferry ride bullshit , but it's taking the whole day off work that usually screws me up ,

i dunno......thinking either wheel bearing or diff bearing on the drivers side....get a vibe from the front at about 30-40mph. sitting at about 33.5k miles too. gotta get it knocked out before that magic 36k mark

This may sound dumb , but are you keeping your foot on the brake until you have the shifter into D ?
