In Land O Lakes and it is picking up here. Within the next hour or two we are supposed to get into the worst of it. Have not lost power yet, but it is flickering.

Yep, we were already saturated from our normal rains. My back yard is holding lots of water and the street is filled up all the way across. It'll be interesting so see how everyone else faired in the morning.

Mom in Deland is reporting trees uprooting from ground saturation and wind.

    Tornado reported in Ormond Beach.

I'm worried about my dad near Ocala.

Can't wait to get home Tuesday.

Here in Land O Lakes, we still have power but it is flickering a lot. Winds are really picking up out there. Glad I boarded up the house!

I think wpb is pretty much out now. We lost power and have been rocking the generator all day. A few trees down but nothing much. I wish those who are getting it now good luck.

So far here in Wesley Chapel have yet to lose power or internet. But it's starting to set in now with the wind whipping around. Hoping for the best for the morning. Everyone keep safe and check-in when you can!

Im in clermont, the eye is moving towards us, power went out a couple times but came back on. It doesn't look as strong as it was in the south, but the wind gusts are pretty scary.

Agreed about the wind. It calms down here and right when you think it's settled, it comes roaring right back.

Did a quick asessment outside. We still have some wind and rain but nothing like last night/early this morning. House looks good and we never lost power. Checked 3 of my neighbor's houses who evacuated and they look good too. Lots of little branches down in the neighborhood, and a a couple of larger limbs and small trees in the preserve area behind me, but so far so good in Land O Lakes.

Can't get ahold of my dad or aunt. Looks like I'm going on a search mission tomorrow when I get back to Florida.

Just an FYI, I got back to Cocoa about 4 hours ago, and even though I had 3 bars, I had no cell service. I couldn't call or text anyone, yet the phone was showing 4G LTE. It just started working about 10 minutes ago, and I now only have 1 bar.
