Sounds like a plan. Shoulda just left the front of your truck on stands and apart then. You could always pullthe truck in forward, jack up the rear, and cut your stock shocks off so thats already done. I dont know if ill be available this weekend to swap rears, but if you have the parts let me know. I wont be available the 23rd, already have plans. Might be able to get out there the 24th though
Edit: if this weekend i have the kids and you dont mind them coming with me, then i should be able to make it.

Karen made me promise not to do truck stuff this weekend since it's our 5 year anniversary ... the 23rd it's getting the CMC, so I'll limp it out to Dan's shop..... so let's shoot for the 24th if that works for you.

Sure, 24th should work. Youre taking the truck to Daniels on the 23rd? Make sure the castle nuts come in before then. The coilover should be fine.

    A thing or two...
I'd reschedule the CMC if it was me.

I agree. The cmc isnt a life or death thing, so i would just wait for the new coilovers. Its a long drive to dannys from your place.

    yea that's my thought

meh, I'll drive there and back on the coils no problem.... the castle nuts will be here this week and that's the last of what I need to be road worthy.

I'm not going to take it offroad until I get the Icons though.

That's possible, but a) wait for settling and b) do you have any down travel left?

The cut to the CMC is the same cut regardless assuming you are going by the standard plates. Shouldn't matter if your coils settle in the process as the cycling of the shocks with the wheel is what matters, if they sag a little then your just wont have as much lift as expected.

Edit: ADD to that, I think I got my CMC done before I even went LT.

Yea man regardless of tire/shock/sag orientation, the cut will be what it is. If you are worrying about having the tires bite the frame while driving you should be fine unless you send it off a curb or something.

nah, the tires arent rubbing that bad at all... totally drivable.... I just have to put the castle nuts back on the UCAs and all that to get it ready to drive

Sounds like you are set than man once those castle nuts come in. Me personally, I would cut as much as I could off the tire well, but obviously it would take more than your plates to clean that up.

Could you imagine if we all made signature stickers and handed them out when we sold parts or did work? How many would be on many of the trucks on here. Good community.
