Picked up my Tacoma on Friday morning! Couple stops on the way home on day one.

• Hid Kit Pros in Issaquah for Morimoto HID low beams, Lumawerx LED high beams, Morimoto LED foglights, All LED Exterior and Interior.
• Imperial Auto Salon in Kirkland moments later for Xpel Tint match on my front 2. (front windshield to come) also de-badge.

Found out all my stuff wont be here till october. Cheers to Stock for a bit longer

I hope your Morimoto kit works well for you. After paying to replace a couple parts when they were brand new (thanks to HID kit pros for stocking parts) because I didn't have time to wait for TRS to warranty them, I had to warranty another part (within a week) and ripped the kit out of my GX and bought one from Xenon Depot which hasn't missed a beat. I was a TRS/Morimoto fanboy for many years, but that kit and all the issues I've had with retrofits the past couple years were the last straws.

What % are you going to use for the windshield? 50? I just had the windshield replaced on the GX so I need to have mine done as well.

I went several miles north of the actual lake itself to try and get away from people and stumbled onto the "White Rover Auto Tour" which had several stops, all of which were good for camping.

I had morikits on my 4Runner and never had an issue.Ill be doing 50% (let me know when you wanna get it done, ill get you hooked up)(unless joe can go deeper). On the 4Runner I had 5% all the way around with 50% front. But for now I'm just going with 20% w/ 50% front.

 

I signed up for 2 RTTs (with annexes) on a group buy to help secure the possibility that the PNW group would happen. I don't need both, so if somebody wants to step up for the second one I'm happy to give up one of my spots on the list. Here is the thread on the GB:

Hey guys, we need help with welding on a set of sliders on a 1st gen. Anyone interested in taking this on or have a suggestion? It needs to be done this week. It's for my friend Zane. @Speedytech7

He is currently finishing up on a truck he is rebuilding (drive train and suspension swap) after rolling his other one earlier this summer. We are planning to go to Wyoming next Saturday morning to join 'The Tour'. Hoping to have the truck drive-able in a couple of days. It's currently in Renton.

 

I have the exact same issue, and I can't find the source either! I used to think it was my brake pads, but I solved that problem so now I don't know what it is. Driving me nuts though.

Is it the spare tire chain? It's hard to pinpoint direction of a sound while driving.

 

If he cant find anyone to do it, once its driveable he can bring it my way and we can get them on. Im sure he can find something closer though

With any luck, it'll rise from the ashes and run today. Fingers crossed.

 

I think I also have the spare change or what I've been calling a squeaky little hamster wheel type sound from the front passenger. Hear it on the freeway but most noticeable at slow speeds on mildly bumpy pavement. Not sure what it is yet either.

 

Definitely not that on my truck, I secured the chain with zip ties thinking it might be culprit.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this issue.
