I'm thinking a loaded cement OR. I have a small list of mods already planned out, the biggest being SCS SR8's whenever I can get my hands on them.

All the models with this system already have the emblem and a system in the windshield from what I see.

While looking at 2018 specs in pdf at bottom of 1st page of this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-tacoma-model-package-option-costs-master-list.388345/ I noticed a few things while viewing TRD Premium Packages.

    1. will be Black Leather with choice of Graphite or Orange ( i assume it means trim - did not specify)

    2. Tonneau cover will be standard on both long and short beds ( i am looking at model 7568 - TRD OFFROAD 4x4 LONGBED)

Ive read somewhere in this thread, but did not see in spec sheet that power tailgate lock will come standard also.

Is the JBL Audio not being offered on the M/T new? IIRC, this has been included with the manual Tacoma's since the 3rd Gen was released?

I got everything on my OR MT when I purchased it and it doesn't include the JBL. I don't think the MT has ever been allowed JBL in the 3rd gen.

I'm waiting for the Access Cab TRD's to stop being offered with a steering wheel and front seats...

Seriously, at this point, what is even the point of offering TRD's in AC? The way they tread AC TRD's is beyond bizarre.

Don't know but that would be some of the future maintenance concern. I do know there has be many on here that need BSM fixed do to mud/snow knocking them out of alignment and it was a pretty penny to fix and not always covered by warranty.

I was planning on getting an 18 Tacoma, but ended up buying an 18 Tundra. There is a system in the windshield as you said.

I don't notice it there at all when driving, the rear view mirror blocks your view of it.

They treat our trucks like crap because everyone wants 4 door minivans loaded with gimmicks instead of proper trucks.

I wish I could hear the conversation when they decided the AC shouldn't come with a fucking bed light.

This is funny right here. I can't make this stuff up, so I will tell it like it happened. A coworker of mine caught me in the parking lot the other day and asked if I could help him paint his brake calipers. I said sure, lets take a look at what we will be working with. It was a dodge caravan. He also stated he has a K&N air filter ordered for it and is going to put air bags on the rear along with a tow hitch.

At least he has rear calipers to paint :::ducks::

Seriously though, for utility, I'll take a minivan over a midsize pickup any day. They swallow 4x8 sheets stacked all the way to the ceiling if you want, and most minivans actually have more payload capacity than midsize trucks.

I worked with a kid back in the late 80s early 90s time frame that had a manual transmission dodge minivan, he used it for delivering newspapers and pizzas.

Ooh didn't know those were out. My local dealer has 22 tundras on the lot. All 17 as far as I can tell. Maybe I should go make a deal. (22 is a lot for the size of the area)
