I did light coats to avoid sagging as it is pretty heavy, still, by the second coat it was pretty covered. There are so many surfaces that 4-5 passes from different angles is needed to get all the nooks. Dupli-Color could probably provide some information on fade, I am hoping it is pretty UV resistant and durable as well.

Your worst enemy is small rocks. I painted the outside chrome ring on mine with duplicolor. I scuffed the surface and gave it 3 or 4 coats. It's holding up well after 6 months. The occasional rock gets flung and chips it but other than that, it holds up well.

I'll throw them on my truck and take some pics:thumbsup:
But I don't have a PRO, so hopefully they will still work...

I’m thinking of picking up some total chaos bed stiffeners. Anyone know if these will work with the Gatortrax (Retrax) mx4 tonneau cover? Im a little worried that I won’t be able to roll the cover back to the tailgate since these stiffeners go pretty much to the top.

I didn't mention it as it didn't seem relevant, but I work for the company that makes them for Toyota. I don't recall which, but they of course passed ISO testing for salt fog and salt spray.

You could get the Rago Fabrication bed stiffeners if you are concerned about it getting in the way of your tonneau cover. The Rago ones don't go all the way up.

That looks really sharp... Just bought my new 17 limited and stumbled across this site looking ideas... Next to lift and wheels I think this is my favorite I've seen on here. Nice work!

Mounted up my fire extinguisher in the bed. Didn't like how 1 of the quick fists's held it, so got a 2nd one.

Reason I went with Rago as well, as the Total Chaos ones conflicted with my Leer and it's electrical wiring harness...

Yea, as always you are right, you are just wasting your time, better to try them on an Inferno Sport first. And to help you out I happen to know a guy that knows a guy that has one. Because hey, what are friends for?

Would that canopy happen to be the V-Series? If so, it looks like A.R.E. may have finally fixed the ridiculously large gap in the lower rear corners.

They are still visible and I can even see the reflection off the ground from inside the cab. Well when the lows are off. I will be getting LED's in there to better the reflection a bit. Here's some pics. I will get a shot at tonight from the front side aways from the truck.

This is with low beams off.
