    I have thought about getting them. I just bought the truck a month ago and I plan on taking down to Baja on some surf trips and up to Big Bear to go skiing. I am more concerned about MPG and reliability (vibration, driveline angles, wheel bearings etc) so I am hesitant to lift it further than I need to. Just wanted to make more room for 265/70R17 Genera Grabber AT2 on 8" FN Six shooter rims I plan to put on after the level/lift is sorted out. Ive read various posts about the stock length 5100's being too short and blowing out on full extension with the rear lifted with a 1.5" AAL. Been looking into 07- Tundra shocks but since my rears 5100's have under 500 miles on them I am hesitant to buy a 2nd set.

    Decisions decisions. You can re coup some of the money back selling those 5100's, but you're still gonna take a loss. For time being, you're prob fine dropping the perch and still be able the larger tires with out much issue. You may have to remove the front mud flaps and possibly cut some plastic off the bottom fender wells, but that's nothing abnormal. Let me know what you eventually do, I'd be interested to know.

    I think I am going to wait a week or so and see if it drops. If it doesn't Ill drop it to the .85" position. If that levels it, I get the tires and throw them on. If it rubs to much ill bump it back up, get the AAL and tundra shocks, and fix the differential bushing. I'm glad I got the lifetime alignment at Firestone. I have a feeling Ill be in there a few more times in the next month or so.

    This... I have an AC not a DC, but it settled nearly an inch on my truck also.

    I wouldn't have thought that would happen unless they were newer coils. Learned something different.

    well then yup you got 3in of lift. thats surprising. Bring it down a notch, maybe the progressive TRD OR coils react to preload differently than the linear sports (it makes sense).

    I put Blu-logic in it today that I got off essay for 30$. Look a like tomorrow I'll replace the antenna or drop it down a notch. Hopefully I'll lose an inch of height.
