Took delivery of a bunch of goodies! Mounted the axe and also replaced the struts on the topper door. It's nice not getting hit in the head with it anymore.

Alright fellas, I need some input.

I think I am going to pass on the front bumper from DO for now and use the insurance payout for other things. One of them is new front coils. I cannot make up my freaking mind about what coil to order (885's 887's or Eibach 620 lb). I ran the 885's previously with a top plate spacer and it was alright, but I have heard the 885's sag pretty bad with a steel bumper. I have a DCSB, and may get a bumper in the future, but don't want to get beat to crap with stiff coils in the mean time. I reached out to ToyTec and this is the response they gave me.

I wonder if they are taking the photos to have proof of delivery due to fraudulent reports regarding "not" receiving deliveries... Either way, it is a nice concept. I constantly have problems with delivers from both USPS and the parcel companies. They always deliver them to the house up one street with same house number. At least if they snapped a photo. I could tell which porch it was...lol

Do you have aftermarket UCAs? If so, go 887s. If not, get 885s. I have 884s and I haven't noticed any bad sag with the bumper and skids, but that may be because I'm weighing down the rear like a mofo and my whole truck is sagging.

Edit: avoid the eibachs. Having to preload them to achieve lift only results in a harsher ride.

Still rolling stock UCA's, would like to avoid the expense of new UCA's if possible.

I'd stick with 885s then to stay with a decent alignment. With 887s you're really rolling the dice on whether or not you can get a decent alignment. I ran 885s in Stevie 1.0 and was very happy with them.

Did you run the top plate spacer too? Or just the coil?

Just the coil. No spacers whatsoever.

That gave you about 2.5" of lift right?

eibach coils are stiff for offroad imo, i know locals here who have them and it rides rough in comparison to ome, i would go with 887 or even 886 if you plan on bumper

my buddy with a pelfrey hybrid runs 887 here on the left, i run 886 and soon might be transitioning to bp51 since those run the 886 coil as well.

ultimately i think if you preload the 5100 with the eibachs on the 85 notch it will ride rough, you should from what i remember get that 2.5" on the bottom notch for a 5100 with an 887 or even the nitro chargers. I know ads runs the eibach spring and those are nice but that is a different shock/strut entirely

885s will get him ~2.5" and the 887s will get him the full 3". That's why I was recommending the 885s for alignment reasons.
