Beautiful late summer day here. Grill is going and the beer is crisp.

Good solid IPA. Nothing to make it stand out from all the other good ones though.

Had some of this last night. Pretty good.
Not overly grapefruity. 7.?%ABV. Strong but didn't taste like it at all.

Brewed yesterday. Lawsons Double Sunshine recipe (with a minor modification or 2)

Because of my good efficiency, I removed 1 lb of 2-Row. I also upgraded the Cara-Munich to Simpsons Double Roasted malt.

The base recipe I got from here:
    https://beerandbrewing.com/lawsons-double-sunshine-ipa-recipe/

    7.5 lbs Domestic 2 row
    2.5 lbs Vienna
    13 oz Cara Pils
    8 oz Double Roasted

    Mash in @ 152, oops 145 after 30
    Raise to 150, for 20
    Raise to 155, for 20

    1 oz Columbus pellet 14.9% 60
    1 oz Citra Pellet 12.3% 20
    1 lb corn sugar 10
    3 oz Citra Pellet 12.3% 02
    3 oz Citra Pellet 12.3% 00

Change the oil and washed the wife's car. Mowed the lawn and weed-eat'd.

Now trying to keep the kids outside and out of the wife's hair...

    Time for homebrew!

Have any of you been to Treehouse lately? I'm going to try to go in a couple of weeks. I plan to be there when they open, but do people line up before they open, or is it not too crazy at this point?

I'm sure they do but I've heard they won't let you in the parking lot until certain times. They may have relaxed that now they've been open a while. You know they moved to the new facility right?

I don't see anything on their website about parking lot hours, just that you should do what the parking staff tell you. :)
The new facility looks big and nice, and may be easier to get to from the turnpike.
