Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Interesting, it counts going from 6th to 4th as one change, but going 4th > 6th it goes through 5th. Perhaps this transmission can skip straight to a desired gear.

 

Also not understanding the graphs but I like where this is going.

 

Green is engine speed, blue is vehicle speed, brown is gear selection. Read the box on the bottom for which gear is selected where the vertical line is and follow it.

Add throttle position to the graph as well so we can see the delay from pressing throttle to getting a gear change

Would be interesting to see Lambda on top of this to get a read on AF

Oh ok was seeing if your post was tune related.

 

My post was heavy flywheel/rev hang related from earlier post. I feel a heavy flywheel with this tune would work well together. They would really compliment each other in low speed/high torque load situations.

 

Anyone who has done this already mind messaging me, I'm already lost on page 4 of instructions.

despite the lack of torque, this engine manages low rpm situations nicely. It lugs down reminiscent of a 2F

 

Do the kits have the files for the tune? Just finished the read portion of the engine and trans. The truck Id is 04B02

No. You'll read your ECU data once you get the kit, email it to OVtune, then he'll respond to you with the file for you to write
