Actually there were quite a few boats out there, you really couldn't find a cove without a boat fishing already. The water is still freezing, but the fish are biting! :D

2005 25' Stingray 250 LR. Has a Mercury 5.0 V8 (GM block) with an Alpha 1 stern drive. We are in the process of taking the lower unit apart to replace the water pump, then we plan on doing a little restoration. For 3 years it sat in the water all season long, so the stern drive looks like crap, and the bottom paint would just make it look nicer if it was redone. Once we get the lower unit back together, I plan on respraying the lower unit, putting on a new decal kit, and doing a fresh coat of bottom paint.

I guess being the first nice day, people were out on the water. Probably mostly people fishing. On the weekends in the summer you cant hardly move without almost running into someone else, but during the week you mostly have the whole lake to yourself. I used to live about 5 min from East Fork and it was great during the week.

Awesome! When the water gets warmer I may invest in a wakeboard. They seem like a ton of fun.

Thanks for the compliment. She was in good shape when I got her other than some mold or mildew on the seats that took a while to get off. My shoulders were a little sore after a few days of cleaning it all up to my standards.

Cool. I'll probably get one if I can't borrow a buddies or something to try it out. Do you think it will be hard pulling from a ski eye as opposed to a tower?

the tower makes it absolutely effortless to get up and also makes it easier to get big air. We don't have a tower though and it is definitely still very fun not too hard to get up.

You don't have to spend big bucks to get a decent boat.
