I wanted it a little wider...followed some body lines that are a little more subdued than the ones on top of the hood.

I think they are 33 psi all around. My BIGGEST gripe is I can't adjust my seat the way I want and that all the aftermarket suspension out there, even ones that are higher end, provide a firmer on road ride quality. This is mainly due to the type of suspension, valving, and additional capabilities that it may provide. Some people feel like the firmer suspension supports the weight of the vehicle better so you don't get that sloppy handling some people describe. And secondly to add to that 90% of folks who are looking for suspension are doing it for the lift, fit bigger tires, or for serious off-road performance capability if they ever need it. Unlike everyone, I just use my truck to commute to work and back, and is wanting a softer, comfortable suspension and there isn't one out there for my requirement.

It's hard to speak of ride quality since it's a personal perception thing. While I do drive with the seat of my pants, I have no way to know if a suspension is for me or not without buying and installing the goods. I thought this forum would help, but so far I feel like the only person looking for old man suspension. My back is killing me :pout:

The difference between my Limited (SR5) shocks and Bilstein 5100's was night and day. I can no longer feel small divides in roads, it's plush, handles significantly better.

I think some of the issue is that the seat bottom is too short, it doesn't go out forward far enough to support your legs.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I am hoping for a little of both so I'm going to try the Kings with valve adjustment. I like the smoother/old man on road ride but want the ability for off road stiffness. Won't know till I try them.

Might want to pick up a set of OffRoad take-offs and see if that helps?

I think the stock springs and shocks are the same in your Tacoma and in the Limited. They are different in the OR. The OR has Bilsteins 4600, which are essentially the same as the 5100s with a smaller reservoir, and the springs are different. My Limited handles now close to my son's OR, but I still think his has a slightly softer ride. This may be due to different tires and wheels (Limited has 18" wheels).

There are so many people in this forum that have upgraded their OR suspension that I'm sure you can find someone to sell you the springs and shocks from the original suspension for not too much money. Go test drive an OR at your local dealer and see if that's what you're looking for in a ride. I doubt that the leaf springs will make an additional significant difference, so you may keep the ones you have. I'm not even sure if the leaf springs are different among the different models.
