This is a stock header, I tried putting my hand near it but i felt so much heat just generally around it was hard to pinpoint. I looked into welding headers and apparently if you're gonna do it the way to do it would be tig and if not they usually just crack again on the weld. I'm gonna have to replace it and hope I can get all the nuts off easily

The bolts can be tough to get out I deal with rusty bolts often doing collision and restoration work, best thing I have found is some penetrating oil it's called Kano Kroil penetrating oil it's pricey but it really works great and doesn't have to soak long

You can wait until the motor cools, then check as soon as you fire it up. Other than that, I'd work towards replacing that header. Which engine do you have?

Agree! It'll climb upwards. A guy told me a fine Tennessee man came up with Kroil.

Yup good stuff I like it because it doesn't have to soak like other penetrating oils 5 minutes and you're ready to go

Candle wax works pretty good too. Heat on side of the bolt with a lighter or torch on low setting and touch the other side with a plain old stick candle. The heat will suck the candle wax right into the threads.

This had worked well for me on several occasions.

Two person way is the only way that worked for me, just like brakes. The MC is dead simple and as such vacuum bleeding will not work on it. Adjusting is easy peasy

    Parts for a few projects:

turn signal to correct LED hyperflash
    BD backup lights
    grill filler plate
    BPV
also a new grill for the Satoshi project.

Ok so my BPV valve has been leaking for awhile. I've been finding air and water in the line. I was looking into aftermarket manual valves with all the issues of replumbing and mounting and such. I decided just to mount the OEM BPV in the stock location and adjust it manually by means of the blue "knob". That way it already has the correct pressure range and specs. It is in an awkward spot so I will have to rig a lever of some kind. Maybe just cut the bar short that goes to the axle and mark locations for bed empty, towing, bed full, etc.

Got a dremel / rotary tool? Cut through that nut on the top and it should pop off and still be able to spin the stud out after the manifold is off.
