Friends -- I am in JC Mo and I am looking for some Gen 3 Blue rear bumper panels ( or whatever Toyota calls them) Anyone have a set in good shape they want to sell? I have a SR5, so I don't need the rear sensor holes. PM me if you want to talk --I have the OEM chrome ones, but one of mine is cracked --still together, but that darn post got in my way!

Bought a pair of grey maxtrax at ATR and some mount pins in the hopes of being able to mount them inside the ladder frame on top of the camper. Paid $280 for the set and am regretting not grabbing a second pair at that price.

 

Called Steve at Southeast and he hooked me up with the same deal plus some other stuff.

Did you replace your back bumper? I was really maybe wanting to swap out the chrome panels with the Blue, but if the price was right maybe I could stay with chrome!!??

 

That contest is rigged. Your rig should easily be in the top 3. The guy in 3rd place has a plain Jane z71 lol. I guess it's just a popularity contest in the end. It's "best hunting rig", not prettiest picture or truck. I have voted a couple times for ya though.

If youre looking to rectify your bumper on the cheap maybe buy bbp in a rattle can for the bumper caps. Wont hold up as well as the rest but a whole lot cheaper than any other route.

 

What prep did you do for the plasti-dip on the "plastic chrome" bumper end covers?
Thinking this may be a great idea to try to see if I would prefer the Black over the blue color?

 

Just cleaned them up with rubbing alcohol. Taped off with painters tape and bought a roll of peel and drape. Look in my signature for my instagram and you'll be able to see what the process looks like.

Know of any decent suburbs/somewhat rural areas close to Springfield? What's safe or what towns are notoriously shitty?
