    Good Morning Folks! :)

Got the word yesterday to report in this morning to start assessing things at work. We have power both at my Moms and at the beach. The only good thing about a storm like this is that you know it's coming!! We will all get through it. Again thanks for all your prayers. Have good day and be Safe.

    Morning all.

It's supposed to get into the mid 80s today. Not many of these days left this year...

Uhhh, 100 is a bit too much for me. Where is there a place in the mainland US that is sunny most days and has temps between 50 to 85... And it has to have gainful employment... Relatively close to the ocean... Not have extreme storms... Inexpensive...

You be safe too Jimi! And hope things return to normal soon for everyone in the South.

Hit 80 yesterday and supposed to be 80 every day this week. They are labeling it pleasant, beautiful, etc. Grouse season opens Saturday and I will not hunt the dogs above 70 prefer 60 or cooler. And so do the dogs. Then it is beautiful to us right now it is too damn hot.

I believe inexpensive is a show stopper. Although 2 of my friends purchased homes in the 70's in Hawaii (Oahu) when they were stationed there and kept them so if you had the vision back then... Although they say they are house rich and cash poor. They both spend 6 months a year there. One lives in Seattle the other in Mass. so you can figure out which 6 months. I spent 6 months on the rock and it does get old and small after 6 months, at least to me. Outside of that Southern Cali. is about all I can think of. Read somewhere that the Muppets are taking over the place though.

Another friend of mine traveled the US for 2 years in a RV after his wife and him both retired from the Navy. They settled in Rapid City, SD at the base of the Black Hills. Weather is surprising temperate there, and no State income tax, low cost of living, and medical care is available. Hell of a long ways from the ocean but they spend a big chunk of winters on a cruise ship someplace. Or visiting the Grand kids in Portland, Or. Damn I did this shit all wrong, 6 more years in Mn.
