listening to the radio this morning on my simple drive in (you know, because schools and the arsenal are closed so they don't get a little drizzle or slight breeze on them), and a guy emailed in to the host and said "just letting you guys know I'm headed in to work at the arsenal, only the khaki wearers get off today":rofl::rofl:

Are sliders and skids enough weight to run OME 886?

Is there a weight requirement to run them? lol. I ran 700# kings for a while with just sliders, it's not bad.

Just the heavier spring and possibility for the front end being high enough to bind CVs at ride height

I believe you'll be fine, idk OME but those are not adjustable correct? Skids are pretty heavy so I think you'll be fine. I can say even with my bumper, camper shell, and other weight it wasn't an immediate settle of my suspension, it still took a little time. Brand new suspension is stiff, just how it is, it all settles.

    They are non adjustable, yes.

I'm going to switch to 886 when I get sliders soonish

I was trying to start something new. Earlier mornings, earlier evenings. Am told it's healthier.

May I ask the reasoning to go OME? If it's a price restriction I understand, but just hearing @TheTacoma talk about it and knowing he actually plans to wheel his truck I'd stay away from OME.

Yeah I've been getting up at 5:30 for a couple years now, was making it to work by 7 when I lived in Arab and was just doing the same when I moved to HSV, but decided to cut out the 30mins of TV and relaxing in the morning and just get here at 6:30.

I ran them with no skids or slideres on my 13. Never had the cv bind once.
