Its a Price thing. Have to work up to the coilovers.

@JimboAnz seems to be doing ok on his 886/5100 setup.

    yes, yes i do :D

The 886's are stiff. I am Billys and 886s currently. I have sliders, super reinforced double thick heavy as shit skids, bumper, winch, etc. still feel stiff once in a while, while on trail. on street, rides great, no swaybar. Malls, they kick ass.

Billys and OME springs is a decent lift. suits me fine. sure there are more plush ones to be had, but they need to be rebuilt every so often, and if you drive as much as I do, that can be problematic.

I'm between 25 and 30k miles on my setup now and no issues as of yet :fingerscrossed:

I still have my stock setup for when I need to have anything rebuilt.

I haven't sold anything from mine.

Only things I don't currently have are my Spydertraxx Spacers (with Chris), one stock bump stop (with EJ), and my rough country rear shocks (with Brian).

hahaha, heavy as shit. the front IFS skid has a double thickness of steel for most of the skid. The mid and tcase have extra ribbing / reinforcement wherever it would not interfere with anything. I took them off to do some maintenance recently, and went full bro lean. Put them back on, back level, to a tad of rake :rofl:I had took some pics, cant find em, must have just took a pic to text and gone now......

Also, @BamaTaco56 I have no idea what the cost of the rear shocks you are looking at are, but those rough country shocks I had that Brian is currently running have done great for him. He ran them at Moab, and they have a ton of droop. So I'm saying if you want something cheap that you can also keep as a backup when you upgrade, RC isn't a bad idea. I've got my stock coils with spacers just to be able to keep everything at the height I'm at when I send the Kings for rebuild.

I swore after I bought a RC lift for my Silverado and ended up putting an additional 2-3K into it to make it ride comfortable that i would never give RC my money again.

I'm probably going to buy Chris's OME rears and run those until i relocate the rear and put in a 12"

used is a good choice as well lol. I paid a whopping like 200$ for the RC setup just to get me up to be able to squeeze the tires so I didn't have to buy those twice lol. The rear shocks ended up being pretty dang good, but the spacers on front simply suck.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I didn't notice anything bad with spacers. All they do is preload the springs.
