Where do you think you live, New Hampshire?

 

My friend used to have FSTR 1 on his R1. He wanted FST R1

 

I wish ma was cooler about the tags

 

Wonder if there's any information on what % of NH plates are vanity. It has to be around the 80% mark.

Edit: after some googling it looks like only 12% (from a 2007 article). But it sure as hell seems like ever NH plate I drive by is a vanity.

Did I miss anything while I was gone? Was camping on Aziscohos this weekend with the GF and the dog, so no cell service even, let alone interwebz access. Even if I had it, though, I wouldn't have used it. Defeats the purpose of camping in the first place, I think.

The stock jack goes under the axle so, depending on how much taller your tires are, your ground to axle clearance isn't impacted by a rear lift. The front is a different story. Personally, I just kept a couple pieces of 2x8 cut to about 8" lengths in the bed to stuff under the stock jack. I would do that anyways as a small base, metal bottom jack on pavement is at risk to sink in and overturn.

I just realized that my straps kinda hit the axles............... SOOOOO gonna have to relocate. Stupid pee-runner problems.

 

I think I used a friends Toyota employee discount. Or it was from Toyota of Dallas online store. Very easy fix assuming it's the canister not a filler neck or tank leak.

 

And FYI if you need it inspected before you have $$$ to fix, if you drive around with a quarter tank or less or 3/4 tank or more and keep it above or below those levels respectively the Evap test won't run. So if you reset your computer and drive like that for a few days, come test time you will have one pending code and I think to pass you can have 2 pending.

Truck returned 18.6 MPG's during my 200+ mile trip, 100% of it towing the boat and probably 500lbs of camping gear.

 

Awesome! My readout is 16.4 now... My new commute has a lot more traffic and it's killing my MPGs. I thought my commute had a fair amount of stop and go before and was happy to pull 18 MPGs but now it's just brutal.
