If someone wants a gun and they're background is bad enough to not pass the check.... don't you think they'll find a way to get a gun anyway?

 

I'm sure they'll try. The question is, why would you make it easier for them?

 

Guns are still going to end up in the wrong hands no matter what all law abiding gun owners are put through, so i dont see how registration of my fire arms are going to stop that, just like drugs, i still have not found the store that sells meth but yet denver still has druggys i just dont see how this hurts anyone besides the law abiding gun owners.

 

It's easy for them to break into a house or car where a registered gun owner dident have there gun locked up. Now a criminal has a gun with no background check necessary

 

If they wanted to use a gun with intent to cause bodily harm to some one im sure that robbing a house would not be out of the question.

Guns will end up in the wrong hands because you said yourself, you don't want Joe Schmoe to know you have a gun. So you are giving them easy access. You complain about them getting into the wrong hands, but you leave those avenues available for them.

Lock them up, it's very simple. All these problems you guys present, are totally in your control.

 

Hahaha so wait if i registered my gun the crime never happens because he knows it's registered and so that would.... these ideas just dont add up, how would this change anything

 

What I'm saying is nobody wants criminals to have guns, but me registering mine isn't going to help anyone, including me...idk how we got on the topic of stolen fire arms... you don't have to steal a gun to have it unregistered... nobody said they didn't lock their guns

I even know of a shop in Florida that was hit by a smash and grab mob. And they stole some atf registered weapons

 

Colorado doesn't 'register' guns, so not sure what they got those numbers. Conceal carry permits?

 

Thats just how stupid this sounds, so do all of mine... but how does registering them make them any better

Well, when you register a weapon, background checks accompany them jr.

 

Ohhhhhh so when the criminal steals one or has his grandmother buy one they in turn go through the same check

 

It's unfortunate that you don't advocate for the safety of other gun owners, and the public.
