The Pro Grille has a open area for a box, I assume it's for that Safety Sense stuff.

The 18s are not out, I assume they are going to use the current Pro Grille since that space is there.

Off topic, but the ABS kept.me from getting into a brutal accident today. Some assclown slammed brakes and changed 4 lanes to make an exit in rush hour traffic. Went from 60-0 across the board. About 15 cars involved sliding across 395. My truck stopped short of the T4R in front of me by a whole car length. I was impressed.

But that's not possible with drum brakes in the rear!

Just stirring the pot lol! Glad you were able to avoid the collision!

In the other Toyota models they use both grille and windshield devices.

Yup, that's how it is in my Tundra, I'm sure it'll be that way in the Tacoma as well.

I wish they would treat the AC the same as well, but other than the cargo light and power rear slider aren't they the same currently? Or did I miss something? I have a 17' TRD OR A.C. btw.

My issue, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my drive line - so why fix something that is not broken? No leaks, howls, plenty of power, shifts - well when I want to shift or I feel I need to...

Same here and I'm auto - No issues with leaks, howls, engine, tranny, power, shifting...none.
The floor/steering wheel vibe I do have, still can't figure that one out.

Well at least for 17's the difference is minimal, although I miss the power slider that was in my 95' Dakota. That's crappy that 18' AC won't have the leather option...

Eh whatever. It's not like we need leather in a proper offroading/work truck like an Access Cab. I'd rather have something sturdier like vinyl.

It's not about need. It's about it making zero sense to not offer it.

Vinyl would be a great option on the lower trims.
