If you're limiting to 500, I would put a cap of say 5 coins per person for a while and then if you haven't got rid of them hit up @Braves95, he'll probably buy the remainder. Just a thought.

Not really liking the series 3 so far. I still think this 3rd release should have a truck on it. As I said in the past we should do a generation coin. One each of every gen truck.

Can we also make a separate thread for news on the TW coins? I have unsubscribed because 95% of the posts are general chatting and have nothing to do with new coin designs or new coin releases. If I have one complaint about TW is the lack of organization and lack of grouping of threads. Compared to other forums we have threads for everything under the sun but very little master and sub forums to group everything and keep things clean and organized. Because of this it is tough to keep up on stuff you are interested in unless you subscribe and then have to be bombarded with all the mindless chatter and BS. Even our stickies are a disorganized mess. I WANT to be in on every coin design and purchase. If it wasn't for this thread being in the recent posts I would have missed it and possibly miss out on ordering series 3.

Pre-order amounts shouldn't be limited. If we had 1500 paid and committed orders then make that number plus the overrun amount.

Sucks there is a lot of inventory for series 2 coins. I myself had assumed it was all sold so maybe we need a bit more communication regarding coin design, coin ordering and maybe a little bit of marketing within the site. Like I mentioned in the above post TW is a mess of organization regarding thread sub groups. If it doesn't have lots of replies and come up to the top of the lists many won't even be aware of the coin threads or those who do may miss out when they unsubscribe from the endless off topic chatting within the thread.

I think that's because they came out too quickly and more were produced as series one was highly sought after.

I agree with @exracer2 , I'm not crazy about the design either.

    That is great to know.

I really liked series one. Series II to be honest was a solid OK at best. I had hoped being the "GOLD" coin series III would be the pinnacle and the best of the best. It is not a good design on any level. If I were to completely honest it really sucks. If I order it the reason is only because it would compete the series and would hate to break up the collection.

Now that I have gotten honesty out of the way. I think series III needs 1st, 2nd and third gen trucks together on the gold coin. Or stack the 3 grill and headlight profiles from straight on.

Honestly if you are ok with holding inventory on a dog then make whatever design choices feel right to you. But some of us may just wait until our particular Gen of trucks makes it to a coin and then call it a day at that. Or this coin kills any interest and the whole coin idea just fizzles away. This coin needs more input and a redesign before this abortion makes it to production.

    Stuff. Also things.
Tell me I'm reading this wrong.

Are you saying there isn't going to be a design with the 1st Gen truck? If that's true, it's super disappointing.

Either start at 3rd gen and work backwards or at 1st gen and forward. But 1-3 gens need to be represented. Then we can argue about other trucks being added.

There will be a 1st gen, but they will probably be very limited.

I waited awhile before I ordered my series 2; when they came in I lost the series 1 that I usually carry around :(

Looking forward to the series III coin. If I'm reading the first post correctly, the series III will be released in January of 18 and the series IV coin in July of 18?
