Reduced travel in dampers as well. The mono tube dampers on these trucks use high pressure nitrogen to help support the weight of the truck, and as you know, attached at the frame and LCA. Increased distance here means you have less droop, which you also know. So less scientifically, spacers will make them bitches bottom out.

 

I left Birmingham at 9:30 and got back in auburn at 11:15. I saw a grand total of 6 Florida plates, not what I was expecting

 

I had a grand total of about 37 leaves on the ground at the house, precisely what I was expecting.

Just got back from the the CarCare place and got them to balance my tires, they had to charge me an extra $5 for using more weights than usual but my wobbles are gone!

theres no way you could convince me spacers in between mount and coilover reduces droop. in theory, now that you mention it, i can see how it could limit up-travel. but im not sure the shocks would be the limiting factor in the real world. are you?

 

Unsure. Though I guess I started off thinking of blocks in the rear and then realized halfway through you were talking about the front. In which case, I'm not sure what percentage of sprung mass is supported by the dampers. In coilovers, it may very well be zero. Where's Brian? Or Matt?

 

@Sandytaco14 what are you doing for prep for that HAM test?

 

and is it the technician or general?

 

Upon further reflection, I deduce that it would still decrease droop because the damper itself will still need to be extended into the rebound region as the mount points will have increased distance from one another, as a result of the truck being lifted. Right?
