Just make sure it snugs it down good. With all my rattles the HiLift rattle is the loudest when I don't get it tight enough.
Also, think I need a 60" with all the new droop in the rear. Going to mount it diagonally across my bed

 

What I have now holds it VERY snug. The quick release (if it works) will simply replace the wing nuts. I put a coil spring under the jack (on the current bolts) to keep everything tight. Seems to work. I just have to find one more '72 Mach One Mustang hood latch.

 

Ratchet strap the axle to the frame. 48 will still work haha

yea man, I did a ton of looking and the few people that have done it, didn't offer any suggestions or write ups on the complications and fabrications involved.

Exactly, they just do it and don't offer any insight about it, which is kinda discouraging.

 

Do you can be the guy to do the write up. There shouldn't be anything difficult about it, just time and money consuming.
