I guess it's possible, but you would really have to be off your line or completely miss something for them to help with protection.

Looking good. Good thing you painted that foam. Expanding foam is highly susceptible to UV and discolors/breakdown fast if you don't paint it.

Was that a spray on? How did you do that with out over spray if it was a spray on? I also live in the midwest and have some rust issues but not enough for recall. On my bucket list to do.

That looks great! The black top on white truck contrast looks really nice.

New truck is coming together very nicely.

That makes 2 of us. :(

Are you still "taking care" of the witnesses for your trial :rofl:No witness is willing to come forward freeing the "like" wrath of The @ChadsPride !

Tires look great! Those Ridge Crapplers are getting great reviews.

Just outta curiosity.....what is up with the old shoe in the picture? What happened to the other?:anonymous:

the half-cab belongs to me- tires for my feet -just don't wear them that often. I wear flip flops unless I am at work. Still have the other shoe.

Hey man I'm in the NW Suburbs of Chicago here near O'hare. It's Eastwood Rust Encapsulator, the brush on version. I bought a quart for like $25. A quart is more than enough, didn't even use half of it. Takes about an hour to do altogether. Order some now and get it done before winter. Big peace of mind with the salt.

    Did a thing...
Going to say there's a slight learning curve but going to call it a success that is still in the testing phase....
But I did remove it in 3 minutes by myself
I don't use the stock mounting hardware which makes it quick and simple.
    Now praying it doesn't fail
    Seems pretty secure thoughIMG_9019.jpg

Fresh out of 4wheelparts ... 235/85r16 (31.7") with a 4.10 regear and an Eaton Detroit TruTrac LSD on the 2010 5-lug.. no spacers, no rubbing.

After starting this project as a stock truck in Winter 2014 .. i'm now fully done on this truck's mechanicals and external changes. Well and truly happy with the end results.
