One of my friends was up there last weekend. He said the grass is high in the water. But he got a tip of a creek off Glass road (not sure of name). He might go there on sat.

@TXpro4X4 you want to share your site for Saturday night? I am there Friday night, makes it easier for me so I don't have to pack up and move.

Count me in for Saturday night too if he has room for me!

That sounds good! I have never been "up" Clark's Grade, only gone down it from the top.

maybe you can do both? we just need to stagger the trips. if @Maggot61 has his trip at 8am maybe you can lead Clark's at 1pm and do both.

I'll have to think about it, cause if we get hung up on jose's run then it won't work.

Perhaps... after the burns/tiptop mt run, and after jays run, whomever is in the big bear city vicinity can meet me at the trailhead for skyline(near bear mountain) and we can take the trail down the mt and back to camp for dinner... but we'd have to really work out timing and stick to it...

Yeah that's the hard part. Once every on is out on trails, no one sticks to the schedules.

I want everyone to have a good time, but at the same time I don't want to be a time warden. So we should set up a few trails in the AM and the afternoon runs should be impromptu from camp.

well depending on where we end burns canyon, I could then lead us back to camp via trail. We can set a time in the middle/later in the day at the Kmart parking lot or something for the stragglers

@Maggot61 i'm taking a look on google maps- do you plan on starting at the hwy 38-> 2N01-> burns canyon rd, then end up near baldwin lake in a neighborhood?

Pin on the right side of the screen. It looks like there are some trails (7n84)you can take to get a little further downstream too

I agree. I'm glad first week started off great. Thursday game was good, Sunday night was great (I'm a Cowboys fan) and last night was good as well. Looking forward to this season. Already a lot of injuries.
