I have always used AVS in channel. Work like a charm.

I also have In-channel AVS. The ones that stick on top of the door IMO are just big ugly window eyebrows.

I've got weather tech in channel vents, and they add some wind noise for sure. not as much as my roof rack though! And I definitely cut myself pretty bad on them the first day I had them on the truck. They look good, but given the added wind noise i'm not sure they're worth it.

I just went and looked up the wade vents, they use 3m tape, but not externally, to secure them? The weather techs use clips. A friend's dog did knock one of mine loose and I never did find it. So tape vs clips could be a factor.

I have the 3M tape on the in-channel AVS and their solid. Just follow the instructions and dont open the window for a couple of days and their not going anywhere. Just my two cents though. I love em

AVS in channels here too, love them. Fit almost flush, minimal noise.

I have AVS in channel and they kinda rub and clank on the window when slightly down and windy. Seem really thin. I might switch out to WeatherTech's.

How are the AVS vents with the driver window down all the way, do they keep the cab relatively breeze free?

Oh, I did have an issue at first where the "auto up" feature on the front windows would freak out, but somehow it's not been an issue recently. I think the vents seated a little bit after a few up / down cycles. Oh, and here's a couple pics: first one windows up, second one windows down

How does in-cahnnel affect those who have the noisy window seals? Help?

20161209_104408.jpg ] I have mostly had AVS stick on vent visors on most of my trucks bought with this truck I did try the AVS in Channel vent visors I found that the in Channel vent visors especially in the rear windows were a little flimsy when the windows were open everyone has their own opinion on looks and functionality in my opinion the glue on has visors are more functional and also look better when painted
