    He just messaged me. His plans have changed and will be attending the San G event with us instead of Calico. He's staying with me Friday night in spot 24. I plan on camping Saturday night too so it would be nice to stay put and have you setup once he leaves.

    There is a decent trail head at the west end I think from what I have read. My little 1 and I have ventured down only about a half mile or so. Think it goes to the bottom of the canyon it overlooks and there's water at the bottom.

    There is also the south fork trail head that is above jenks lake. Thats a nice hike that actually leads all the way to summit San G. But that hike will take ALL DAY. 17 miles round trip.
