Across state lines requires a background check to be legal, technically.

This is a topic that can easily stray across that political line, but I also feel it's fairly reasonable and appropriate...so just be careful with where this goes

I do the same, why else is the "Firearm" Serial# & Manufacturer required for a background check?

I think you're correct; they have to keep records of their sales/background checks for X number of years in case they're audited/investigated.

    We're trying to behave.

Correct, as long as it doesn't get into complaining about why or how that law exists

Like, for example...the Brady Bill stems from an attempted assassination and that's not political, but when we start getting into is it right or wrong it starts to stray too much into political territory

    I think that's correct also

I've seen the FFL rules for logbooks and background forms get many an employee in hot water

Once you acclimate to the humidity it's fine...Columbia is hotter than the rest of the state for some reason but it's still great imo

I can wear shorts thru November most years and don't need a heavy coat but maybe 2 months

    Thanks for the warning, lol.

To contrast that, I was camping this weekend and we had overnight temps in the 30's.

Nevada has no registration and you can open carry. We do have background checks, though.

    No firearm registration
No background check requirement for private sales
    Open Carry
Constitutional concealed carry (but you can still get the CCW permit to get around some restrictions that apply to those without permits)
    No magazine capacity restrictions
    No 'assault weapon' bans

Pretty sure these also all apply to NH. And without sales tax! (but property taxes are high)

yeah its great for well literally nothing... makes you really appreciate central air conditioning tho haha, I swear somedays you have to push the air out of the way to move. (I realize from a scientific POV, that you always technically push air out of the way when you move through it, but you know what I mean)

Yeah, you guys just got permitless concealed carry this year, right?

Agreed, your property taxes are high. A buddy of mine lives outside of Rochester on 2 acres, singlewide trailer with no outbuildings and he pays around $1k more in property taxes every year than I do for 3 acres on a 2200 square foot house with a big 2-car garage and 2 sheds.

But, no sales tax, like you said. Probably a wash, depending on your house/spending habits. Although if I understand it correctly if you've got a lot of land you can put it into 'Current Use' (I think that's what it's called) in NH and only pay $1 a year in property taxes.

Yeah we did, I still plan on maintaining a permit as its only only $10 or $15. I wouldn't know about the complexities of property taxes, as I have yet to own any land lol
