Wait you're the guy who carelessly pressure washed his entire engine bay while having non-sealed HIDs hooked up aren't you??? Didn't you also submerge it in salt water and continue to pressure wash even though you apparently don't know how???

LOL, yeah you get no sympathy.

I can already hear your excuses "but but but I've done it before to a Ford!"... means nothing, I ran 18psi on a CT26 turbo for years but when my buddy did it he blew his motor.... c'est la vie.

As for sand in your gas tank MULTIPLE times... ever considered that someone is fucking with your truck?

I don't know why people on TW like the 4runner so much. Maybe i'm not comparing apples to apples but the 2016 sr5 loaner they gave me sucked. Felt 10 years old even as a new car with 3k miles on the clock. So glad to have my truck back.

I mean it's a great SUV, but by no means is it leaps and bounds any better than the Tacoma. People say crawl control is a gimmick but the 4runner literally has a display feature that shows what direction your front tires are facing

I've owned a couple 4Runners and do love them for what they are, but it became very apparent to me on my last offroad trip that the 4runner is not nearly as capable offroad as the Tacoma. I always assumed they use the same frame but was informed they're actually on a completely different chassis.

The Tacoma chassis allows it to flex much much more than the 4runner, going down technical trails I kept all 4 wheels firmly planted while my buddy in his TRD Pro 4runner kept 3 wheeling it. On that same note the 4runners are MUCH easier to roll over... ask me how I know :/

First off truck was never submerged, second off the "pressure washing" that I showed you all was a test because the dealership blames my completely sealed and water proof HIDs for interfering with the ecu. I also used the hose. . And not the pressure washer for that.

Third off, how is sand or dirt or volcanic Ash etc showing up in my gas tank ONLY after I take a trip, and it only affects the truck after it's washed?

My trucks garage kept and I work on a military installation, and I sleep against the truck during trips. The only time the truck was left unattended during my time at Pismo was parked in the lot next to the at rentals....

It's not quite adding up my friend.. and stop embellishing the story. I have nothing to gain by lying.

People are driving through flood waters, mud pits, and worse, but my truck can't take hose water.

They also told me that sand dissolved in gas when the fuel sample was clean.
